Despite some technical difficulties, we were able to connect with Andrew Corkery of Shadowplay from Mt. Laurel NJ on the phone. He caught us up on what’s been going on with the band AND in his own life as he nears his college graduation. It’s always fun to talk to Andrew and we hope Shadowplay will be coming to Missouri again on tour sometime soon!

Nick & Bootsy had a great time with Soundtrapp in the station. The band played a couple of acoustic tunes AND debuted a brand new, just recorded song! Oh, and we had TORGER, Drummer Extraordinaire, on hand to add to the craziness (and he did a great job)!
Shadowplay on Tour in the Basement!

We’ve been playing music from Shadowplay of Mt. Laurel, NJ since the summer of 2011 and this will be the second time they’ve dropped into the basement while on tour. Last summer was their first tour and we were thrilled that they chose to add The Basement Tapes with Nick and Bootsy to the schedule. We’re re-thrilled that they chose to visit us again on this summer’s tour. They’ll be catching us up on what they’ve been doing since the last time they were in Rolla and from what we’ve seen, they’ve been one busy band!
