We would never have believed back in July of 2010 that we would be able to do a WHOLE show (and back then, we were only doing an hour-long show) with music we got from bands outside the USA! We started out local, and we’ve remained local – as long as you remember that all the independent bands/musicians we play on The Basement Tapes with Nick & Bootsy ARE local to somewhere, even if it’s not Salem/Rolla, or even Missouri, or even the United States!
