On Show #201, we have Johnny Madness – musician, actor, director, producer and all-around cool dude – in the basement with us. Johnny is in the finishing stages of his independent movie, Max and Chase. We chatted about his experiences as a performer and the “guy behind the scenes.” We also revisited music from the bands who played at Saturday Night Live at C&M this past weekend: Fail Inc.; 4 Skeevy Dudes; Miles from Nowhere As always, we had plenty of music from bands around the world, including:
- Stone River (Toronto, Canada)
- Pigeon Park (Vancouver, Canada)
- DEAD BED BAD (Columbia, MO and LA, CA)
- Black Mountain Moan (Bootsy’s Band from Missoula, MT)
- Trash Angels (Bootsy’s Band from the Vault – Springfield, MO)
- Rattlin Bone (London, England)
- Over The Effect (Atlanta, GA)
- Molotov Latte (Springfield, MO)

Nick picked a couple of tunes from Smokin’ Joe Kubek and Bnois King and also took a minute to salute The King, Elvis Presley, who passed from this world on August 16, 1977. Our thanks to Johnny Madness for making the trip from St. Louis to hang out with us!
We had a great time with Johnny Madness and his friend, Michelle, during show #201. We are looking forward to having Johnny back after he releases his new CD and his independent movie, Max and Chase.
